I ran into Peter sometime around 1973-76 and he joined me on one of my trips to Mexico to do volunteer work in a series of clinics in the mountains of Sinaloa. He was a great traveling companion and he wrote the story of our trip and sold it to a film company. I wasn't surprised to find out that he gave a large part of the proceeds to the clinics. I will miss his energy, his sensitivity and his great laugh.

I think it was the summer between or Junior and Senior year going to summer school and giving Peter .25 or .50 cents a week for gas for his 57 Chevy.

Peter also had a 38 Hearst and I remember one day he said he would sell it to me for $1,000.  To this day I regret not buying it.

Peter you will be missed I was always laughing when you were around.  So long buddy.

Peter's parents house  was on my paper route and when I got my job at Bob Pearson's Shell, I gave my paper route to Peter.  My cousin Ken McCrary is the one who rebuilt the engine in Peter's '38 Packard.  Peter's parents had a 1953 Plymouth that I took the engine out of and installed in another '53 Plymouth that belonged to a friend of my sister Marcy.  Peter was a great friend and will be missed.  I think of him often,
