Paul and I were never buddies in High School, but I came to know him later at UNR where we both attended the University of Nevada , Reno.
Paul was an outstanding individual, he would give the shirt off his back for you.
At UNR we became freinds and would cut classes together to get in some runs in at Mt. Rose Ski Area. Paul loved skiing like myself. Sometimes he would borrow my VW and I woud use his motorcycle. The coldet day in my life is when we traded vehicles one night and I took his Yamaha dirt bike over Mt. Rose to Incline Village, Nv and through Tahoe back to UNR in November or December of 1970. The temp was probably 30 DEG F and with a 60 MPH wind it was cold!!!! A week or two later some one stole his motorcycle from the campus.
A few years later I met Paul and his wife in their home in San Carlos, they appeared to be happily married. I hope all stayed well.
Paul was a friend of mine. Yes ,I must say he was a one of a kind. You are missed and very much loved. From one of you friends, from Jordan Junior High. Susan A. Vecsey.
