Received the following from Kathy Baxter:
On January 3rd, I received an e-mail from Suzi's husband, Stan, that Suzi had passed away on December 4th. She had previously told me that her health was fragile and she had to stay near home. I did not realize how ill she truly was. She and I were friends at Paly. She was kind, fun, and a truly good person.

She was one of the first people I met at Addison when our family moved to Palo Alto. I'll never forget that first day in Miss Sarzin's class and the smile she gave me from across the room...

I'm sorry to hear about Sue, she was such a nice person and considerate of others around her. She will be missed.

So many years growing up together. So many fun times. I am grateful for Facebook where we were able to reconnect for the last few years. Not a more loving and caring person as Cool Buns. RIP my freind.

I am so sorry to hear about Susan Cooley's death. She was such a sweet girl. We used to play after school together when she and her family lived in a house close to the underpass on Embarcadero. Her Mom worked hard and there were many in the family, and as a very young girl Susan had big responsibilities taking care of the younger ones while her Mom was at work. I really liked Susan and was so hoping I would see her at one of the reunions, but never did.... May her soul be blessed.
