Death Notice: Nancy Landford (Hays) 7/27/52 – 08/21/16 Widower to Rocky Landford, Sister to Mike Hays & Linda Suter, Mother to Hope Saint Louis, Grandmother to Anandi, Niambi, Isabelle, La Donna, Anabire. Nancy was always a very giving & loving person. She would give you the coat off her back if you needed it. She worked many different professions in her life time from running a day care to truck driving cross country to bar-tending and waitressing & she even worked with me as a bookkeeper for a few years. But her true love was always for children. These past 6 or so years she enjoyed her job as a school crossing guard and lunch duty helper at (2) different elementary schools in Sunnyvale. She always participated in all the holidays by dressing up for work. Nancy even dressed up for the special school day activities like bad hair day, Pajama day and backwards days. She was very creative & made lots of her dress-up day costumes. She even won a few community service achievement awards. Nancy will be well remembered for love of cats. Kittie Kat Momma was her nick name and the children will always remember her for all her fun loving spirit, crazy socks and hats. Her special time away from work was always spent with her childhood sweetheart Steve Alban. She has donated her body to Stanford Medicine and requested any memorial donations go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
